Mike Newland, a Staff Archaeologist with the Anthropology Studies Center, Sonoma State University, presented a paper representing the joint efforts of combined researchers who have prepared a Geographic Information System model of village and trail networks between Northern Pomo and Yuki language populations. He discussed what the obsidian distribution might suggest about the nature of the relations between these two groups.
